The Ingle family—Kyle, Jena, and their four energetic boys, Carson (12), Jacob (8),
Kaden (5), and Jaxon (2)—have found their home in Westfield, IN, along with their two beloved dogs, Jocko (a Doberman) and Cindy Lou (a French Bulldog). Their journey is one of lifelong connections, bold leaps of faith, and a shared commitment to creating a
meaningful life.
Kyle and Jena’s story goes back to 1995, when they were just kids themselves, playing the roles of ring bearer and flower girl in a family wedding. Though they grew up in different parts of town —Kyle in the small farm town of North Liberty and Jena on the west side of South Bend—their paths would cross again years later in a way neither could have predicted.
After high school, life took them in different directions. Jena pursued her education at a local community college, where she discovered a passion for radio, eventually becoming a midday DJ for a rock station. Kyle, on the other hand, enlisted in the army during his senior year of high school, left for basic training shortly after graduation, and was deployed overseas to both Korea and Iraq.
Reflecting on his military experience, Kyle shares, “I went directly into the military in 2008 when I graduated high school. I spent four and a half years bouncing around the globe— Iraq, Korea, and back to the United States for a short while—earning the rank of sergeant. During that time, I started to understand what leadership was. Camaraderie, brotherhood, all of these things were so important to me.” It was during a brief two-week leave from his deployment in Iraq that the couple’s love story truly began. On December 15, 2010, Kyle reached out to Jena, and the two reconnected over dinner.
“We hadn’t seen each other since we were kids, but a military man who couldn’t stay long seemed safe enough,” says Jena with a laugh. “What started as a simple evening with an old friend quickly turned into a deep connection, and we’ve been inseparable ever since.”
After Kyle’s return from Iraq, the couple married and moved to Colorado, where Kyle was stationed. However, the military lifestyle proved challenging for Jena, and they decided to return to Indiana to start their family. Kyle transitioned out of the military, and the couple welcomed their first son. Kyle explains, “”That leadership experience led me into entrepreneurship. My wife and I built a health and nutrition company, and over the years, Jena took the reins, which gave me the freedom to explore real estate. I wanted to use what I’d learned—both in the military and in business—to help others, not just in buying or selling homes but also by inspiring other agents.”
